Happy Valentine’s Day, Lovers! I absolutely love this romantic, cutesy day! I was chatting with some girlfriends just yesterday about how I actually think I preferred the holiday when I was single. It was always such a fun excuse to get together with girlfriends, have wine and cheese for dinner (let’s be real this is when/where “Girl Dinner” first originated), and adventure out on the town to dance the night away. This year I’ve opted to stay in because my beau and I honestly have been traveling so much (I’ll give my him the credit though - he always remembers to make a plan for us if thats what I want!), and instead I’m cooking us a very fancy dinner (no cheez its and scallion cream cheese here! Although that combo is sensational FYI). I’m talking full on table settings, candelabras, and the fanciest hunk of meat you can make: Beef Wellington. I’ll be listening to my playlist on repeat all day and you should too! It’s a dark mix of moody love songs and mildy angry breakup songs - the best to stir up all the emotions. Au revoir, mon amour!
