Playlist 23.1

Happy Sunday my New York Babies (and everyone else who finds their way here)! First off, I’m super pissed at Podonkee Phil or whatever his name is (it’s actually Punxsutawney Phil, which I just learned this week, even though I’ve seen Groundhog Day 10,000 times) because he cursed us with six more weeks of winter. How Rude! And if this first week is any indication, it’s going to be a colder six weeks than we’ve had in NYC since 2017 (the days of “snow,” le sigh). At least I finally have a reason to buy these and fulfill my Barbiecore-Snowbunny dreams.

Don’t worry, though, my darlings. I’m here with a special mix of tunes to warm you up and keep you hopeful for better days during these “MAD BRICK” times (New Yorker lingo for “way too damn cold”).
