Holiday Vibes

I literally LIVE in Norma Kamali jumpsuits. In a failed effort to find my “signature, everyday look” a la Karl Lagerfeld, Iris Apfel, and Axl Rose before me, I bought MANY Norma Kamali onesies in 2022. Perhaps I am, in fact, on the path to finding my true iconic self? Maybe I just need some signature sunglasses to wrap things up? I’m not sure, but I do know that these jumpsuits are INCREDIBLE.

Truly - they feel like you’re wearing nothing: slinky and comfy without the compression of leggings or spandex, DO NOT WRINKLE (the times I’ve crushed these into a ball to have them pop out of my suitcase perfectly pressed!), and SO FLATTERING!

Naturally, I decided to take some holiday pics in my lobby because truth be told I REALLY MISS creative directing photo shoots that are purely for me and my aesthetic (like I did twice weekly for Cult Factory)! In 2023 I’m going to kick into gear with designing and creating and am excited to share all the work I’ll be doing!

So cheers to making magic and holiday spirit and all things fun & beautiful!

Taking a style cue from the summer of 2019 (when I lived in this white Party City cowboy hat I had purchased for a girlfriend’s “Rhinestone Cowboy” themed bday), I decided to add a splash of pizzazz to this designer onesie with some dollar store Christmas decorations. Yes, these sparkly poinsettias were actually purchased as props for our Fork & Napkin holiday shoot from none other than Real Deal Dollar & Discount downtown on John Street.

And wow - what a touch! Truth be told, I had considered them as hair decor the second I purchased them (due to their hair clip style clamps), but the idea to place them on the neckline of this crewneck suit came to me only after I tried the hair thing (which did NOT work, btw).

Have a lovely holiday season!

xoxo
